Mission & Vision

The mission of the Shiva Temple Belgium is to provide a place of religious worship and study of Hindu philosophy, Hindu spirituality and way of life, without discrimination of Caste, Creed, Color, Nationality, Ethnicity, Gender or Religion.

The vision of the Shiva Temple Belgium is to establish and facilitate religious, cultural, spiritual and educational activities for the community in and around Oudenaarde, Belgium and for anyone who is interested in Hinduism.

Also we would like to promote the beautiful countries like Nepal, Mauritius, India, and help non profit organizations who are helping the people in those countries, also to organize spiritual journeys, lectures, presentations and so on.

We do not believe in proselytisme, what we do believe is that anyone who comes and visit our Temple will walk out as a better person. 

This is what the world needs, better people this regardless their faith.

De missie van de Shiva Tempel België is om een ​​plaats te bieden voor religieuze aanbidding en studie van de hindoeïstische filosofie, hindoeïstische spiritualiteit en manier van leven, zonder discriminatie van kaste, geloof, huidskleur, nationaliteit, etniciteit, geslacht of religie. ​

De visie van de Shiva Tempel België is het opzetten en faciliteren van religieuze, culturele, spirituele en educatieve activiteiten voor de gemeenschap in en rond Oudenaarde, België en voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in het Hindoeïsme.

Ook willen we graag de prachtige landen zoals Nepal, Mauritius en India promoten en non-profitorganisaties helpen die de mensen in die landen helpen, ook met het organiseren van spirituele reizen, lezingen, presentaties enzovoort.

Wij geloven niet in bekering. Wat wij wel geloven is dat iedereen die onze Tempel komt bezoeken als een beter mens naar buiten zal treden. Dit is wat de wereld nodig heeft, betere mensen, dit ongeacht hun geloof. "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam"* (Sanskriet voor "De wereld is één familie")
